¡Hola!

Welcome to the Cambridge University Spanish Society.

We aim to bring together Spanish students at the University of Cambridge and those interested in Spanish culture and language.

What We Do

We host social events, cultural celebrations, talks by distinguished speakers, and more. Our events are open to all members of the University of Cambridge, and we regularly collaborate with other societies.

Past Events

As well as our frequent social events, we have hosted distinguished Spanish speakers in the past few years. We are always looking to welcome leaders in their fields to inspire our members. Juan Ignacio Zoido, former Minister of the Interior and Mayor of Seville

Mr. Zoido, former Spanish Home Secretary and current MEP, gave a talk titled Leadership in a transforming world: Spain and the EU where he shared his insights on the changing geopolitical landscape.

The Spanish Society raises 2,840€ for the floods in Valencia

Cambridge University Spanish Society led fundraising efforts for the victims of the DANA floods in Valencia. The donation was made though the local charity Cáritas Diocesana de Valencia.
